Congradulations! We have a winner!

Well, it was a lot of fun, and I had quite a number of folks send in their best guesses, but at long last we have a winner!

Congrats to Dave in Schenectady, NY who decipered the hidden message. And yes, it was supposed to be that easy! Of course the real trick was deciphering the Sanskrit, but since it's the more modern dialect, there are plenty of online translators (In fact there were more than a few translation errors, Dave!)

To the rest of you, Sorry! Maybe next time you'll do better. But hopefully now we all know a little more about the Fourth Lateran Council.
