Finally, after all this time I'm getting some respect from the online community. I'm proud to announce that The All NEW Adventures of the Slug is a proud winner of the September 2003 BoxJam Award!

I'm fully aware of the sort of overt silencing that the other Web Comics are giving me. I know full well that I have more comics than the vast majority of other Keenspace Artists, yet time and time again I'm ignored. Only the brave few who are willing to take a stand against the sort of totalitarian efforts being imposed by the silent controlling arms. Great comic leaders like BoxJam who shines forth as a beacon of truth, justice, and the American way. BoxJam, able to leap over tall dichotomies in a single bound and change the course of rivers with his bare hands. A man who's muumuu I'm unfit to look at, has stood his ground and said, "No, you and your alien overlords are WRONG! The Slug is a good and noble comic worthy of recognition. Stop using your evil microwave satellites to plant the voice of discontent in the heads of the many!"
