Just the other day, an amazing thing happened to me, although I'm sure the same thing happens to lots of folks. Someone came up to me and asked if I'm the one who draws The All New Adventures of the Slug.

At first, I didn't know what to say. Sure, I've always known that there was the chance that I might get a few fans, but I never expected to meet one out of the blue like that. I stammered out something about "yes, and I'm sorry if that offended you."

She laughed and told me that she loved the strip and then started to ask me all sorts of questions about it. It turns out she was quite a fan, spotting things in there that I hadn't even thought of. We spent quite some time talking and I even did a little sketch for her.

That's when she stripped down naked, turned into the Statue of Liberty and I woke up, but it was the most amazing thing.
